Half Day - Our half day journey is a 10 mile float that begins just below the mouth of the Warm Springs River, one of the Deschutes River's main spawning tributaries for trout, salmon and steelhead. After a brief, dry land introduction and on-water training, we'll float through a remote and scenic section of the river, featuring Whitehorse Rapids. Other highlights of the trip include water fights on some of the river's calm stretches, abundant wildlife and unique geological formations. The take-out point for this trip is a private sandy beach on the Warm Springs Reservation, just downstream from Whitehorse Rapids.
Half day launch times are at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Special trips or launch times may be arranged upon request, schedule permitting. Please inquire when making a reservation.

Full Day - This 20-mile float is considered one of the finest day trips in all of Oregon. Starting just upstream from Deschutes Crossing, our full day trip cuts through the rugged Mutton Mountains - one of the deepest and most spectacular sections of the Deschutes River canyon. This trip includes ample time for splashing, sunning and excitement. After breaking for lunch near the mouth of the Warm Springs River, we'll head through a series of Class II and Class III rapids, the biggest of which is the Class III+ Whitehorse Rapids. At this section, the Deschutes River drops 25 vertical feet in the first 300 yards of Whitehorse, an elevation loss comparable to the mighty Colorado River. The take-out point for this trip is a private sandy beach on the Warm Springs Reservation, just downstream from Whitehorse Rapids.
