PADDLE THE RIVER OF THE FALLS

Join White Horse Adventures for an exciting and exclusive half or full day raft trip on the Deschutes River, which translated means, "River of the Falls." The Deschutes River flows north from Central Oregon to the Columbia River, and has has been designated both an Oregon Scenic Waterway and a National Wild and Scenic River.

You can run with the crowd or come and enjoy a peaceful private and exclusive time on the Deschutes River. White Horse Adventures offers an exclusive excursion on the lower Deschutes River. With White Horse Adventures you launch and take out from Tribal land not open to the general public.

Through special arrangements, White Horse Adventures has been granted the permission to take you and a few of your friends or family to area's not seen by most Oregonians, back country of the reservation with sights not open to the general public. You will float the river and drive out with spectacular vistas of the Mountains the Warms Springs Residents call Mutton Mountains. Don't be surprised if we see wildlife roaming the area as we drive out of the canyon.

Both our half and full day trips are suitable for anyone age eight and over, with no previous rafting experience required. Both trips include a float through one of the river's most challenging sections, Whitehorse Rapids. This Class III rapid features a half-mile of whitewater, standing waves and turbulent currents that make it one of the Deschutes River's most famous stretches of water. These waters, coupled with the abundant wildlife and unique geology of the Deschutes river canyon, are sure to leave a lasting impression on you.
